A proven ability to lead and support a diverse team of teachers, fostering a positive and collaborative faculty culture. Evidence of strong interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build relationships and effectively manage staff.
Experience in leading curriculum planning, programming, and implementation in alignment with current and future curriculum reforms, with a proven ability to drive faculty-wide improvements in teaching and learning by embedding best practice pedagogies across all science disciplines.
Extensive knowledge and experience in developing and implementing faculty processes and procedures that align with the NSW Department of Education and whole-school policies and practices, including the effective management of science-specific processes.
Expertise in leading and mentoring staff to develop and implement differentiated and evidence-based teaching practices that cater to a diverse range of learners, including gifted and high-potential students, students with additional learning needs, and those requiring targeted intervention.
The ability to analyse student performance data to drive faculty improvement initiatives, with a focus on lifting HSC results. Capacity to implement targeted strategies to improve student outcomes, including supporting staff in using data to inform their teaching and assessment practices.
